Day 2 - Anchorage to Denali National Park
This morning you will meet up with the rest of your travel group as you depart your Alaska adventure! The first destination is Denali National Park. You will head over Broad Pass and into your first sight of the treeless north. On the north
side of the Alaska Range meet up with the Nenana River which will lead the group to Denali National, where you will spend the next 3 nights!
Days 3 & 4 - Denali National Park
You have 2 full days to explore the Denali Park and surrounding areas. One day is spent on a wildlife tour which takes you into the heat of the Denali National Park. You have a good chance of seeing grizzly bears, moose, wolves, caribou, Dall sheep, arctic fox and if weather is good a great view of Mt. McKinley. Time will also be permitted on the tour to hike in the remote wilderness setting.
The other day is set aside for you and your family to choose from a number of activities offered near the park entrance, such as hiking, dog sledding, river rafting, flight seeing, horseback riding, mountain biking or kayaking. Speak with your agent or tour guide in more detail about your options.
Day 5 - Denali to Seward
Today you leave behind the wildlife of Denali National Park and make your way to the town of Seward and Kenai Fjords National Park, home to the vast Harding Ice Field and plenty of marine wildlife. You will take your time heading to the park stopping for short hikes and sightseeing. This evening is spent in a Seward hotel.
Day 6 - Seward & Kenai Fjords National Park
Today is up to you and your family. There is an amazing hike if you don’t think you have had enough in the past few days. You can choose from the Harding Ice Field trails at Exit Glacier where you can walk right to the face of the glacier, or the Caines Head trail which follows along the shore of beautiful Resurrection Bay. Or choose from a number of other activities such as glacier/wildlife cruise, sea kayaking, dog sledding, or a visit to the Alaska Sea Life Centre. Spend the next two nights camping at one of the local lakes.
Day 7 - Kenai National Wildlife Refuge & Chugach National Forest
You have another full day to enjoy one of the great hiking trails in the area, explore the local lakes by canoe, or choose another activity such as fishing, river rafting, horseback riding or mountain biking.

The tour will arrive in Anchorage by 5:00-5:30 pm and you can be dropped off where you would like, either a downtown or airport hotel, or the airport for a late evening flight out. We can also arrange a hotel for you if you wish. This Alaskan tour is coming to an end but there’s sure to be many more family adventure trips to come!
